Annual Events in Rome

Rome, the Eternal City, is known for its rich history and offers unique events throughout the year. The year kicks off with an impressive Capodanno (December 31 - January 1), featuring fireworks and celebrations across the city. In April, Rome celebrates its birthday during Natale di Roma (April 21), with historical parades, gladiator reenactments, and fireworks near the Colosseum.

Summer brings festivals such as Estate Romana (June to September), with open-air concerts, film screenings, and cultural events throughout the city. In October, Rome becomes a hub for art and cinema during the Rome Film Festival. The year ends magically with the Christmas Markets in December and the traditional midnight mass at St. Peter’s Basilica. Rome offers the perfect blend of culture, tradition, and celebrations year-round!
